Album of the day: Waterfall by Ocean

Today I would like to present and to recommend you album Waterfall by great Polish band Ocean, and to be honest, I really hope you'll like it. Ladies and Gents, make some noise for Ocean and their first English-language album!

OCN (formerly known as Ocean) is a rock band formed in 2001 in Wroclaw, Poland, and they recorded 5 highly acclaimed albums and played hundreds of concerts. Almost all their singles were nicely accepted both by fans and by 'normal listeners'.
OCN is: Maciej Wasio [vocal / guitar], Piotr 'Quentin' Wojtanowski [bass guitar], Bolek Wilczek [drums].

More about the band you can read on their official page: https://ww w.facebook.com/oceanpl .

On the album we can find ten great songs. A few of them are easy and nice, rest of them are 'heavy' but all of them are good rock sound. It's really great that guys from OCN recorded the English-language album because many people from outside the country can get to know their great music.

As for my this album is just so good, not only because of music which is really cool, or lyrics, but because of an awesom evocals by Maciej Wasio. Trust me - it's really worthwhile to listen to, even only once, this album.

The first single from the album is Waterfall and the second is The First Cut.

As I wrote earlier, on the album we can find ten songs, which are really great and I think that every fan of good rock music will like Waterfall.

Album of the day : The Shrugs - Crossroads EP

Today I've something new and cool. I would like to present and to recommend you album Crossroads EP by great, but unfortunately not too famous yet, band The Shrugs from Dundee, Scotland.
Ladies and Gents, make some noise for The Shrugs!

↑ cover of Crossroads EP

Why Crossroads EP? Because their music is a great mix of acoustic, folk, pop rock and... rap, what's really cool. Songs made by The Shrugs are unique and so good - excellent music + brilliant lyrics. Yes, this album is full of perfect sounds and also shows us their huge talent. That's the reason why I chose it as an album of the day.

Crossroads EP is a compilation of six songs created by Ollie Wale [lead vocals] and Jamie Harris [guitar / keys, backing vocals] - The Shrugs. These two guys are writing own songs, proving that you don't need many people or other 'important' things to create great music.

What you can find on Crossroads EP? I should say 'only the best music' and it would be a pure truth. In my opinion this album is really, really good and I just love it! Also can't wait for more new songs created by talented Ollie and Jamie from The Shrugs. Trust me - you must listen to these songs from Crossroads EP because this is really good music, and you won't regret, big promise. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them and their future.

Ladies and Gents - enjoy a real and good music :)

the 80's! [part 1]

Today I would like to present you the first part, and I hope that not the last, of the great music of the 80's....and I hope you'll like it :)

Why the 80's? Fast questions - who doesn't/didn't like sounds of songs from these years? And who didn't dance to these songs or who isn't doing it nowadays? Or who didn't sing them  isn't singing it nowadays?  In my opinion music from these years is something unique, something different than era of the 70's or the 90's.Yes - especially the 90's. It was the time of synthetic music and nice lyrics, especailly if we're talking about songs about love and emotions, wild parties  and of course crazy, sometimes weird, look.
I think, ok - I hope you'll like something what I'll recommend you. And also I think you will know some songs or you'll be listening to it for the first time...  so exciting!

Have a good time and let's start the party!
