    "Get Back" was released on March 1 2018 and this is the first single from their new EP "THE FIX". I have to say that I couldn't wait to finally hear this song and check if this one is the same great as previous songs and,  believe me, or not, they didn't disappoint me. Before I started writing these words I spent a few last days on listening to this song. Every time I clicked "play" I had the same thrill of emotion. And every time I wanted more and more. That's why I am here - because I want to recommend you another excellent rock song.
     "Get Back"? Almost four minutes of great power, an epic mix of music and words.
So what makes this song so good? Great lyrics, energetic rhythms, dark atmosphere, talent. Puls cooperation of voice, percussion, guitars. Big "A" - absolutely everything you want from a hard rock music. Perfection? Hell yes!

     "Get Back" is a powerful song with the hidden message what's really amazing thing. Why? Because this is not "just another rock song" but this is a song about something real. This song has a soul. Read the lyrics and you will know what I am talking now about:

   This is a real music. Music with true words, thoughts, sounds, a song with a message. "Get Back" has something inside, something between lyrics, music and the band who made it. Magnetism. This song is doing something good with your mind and gives you energy and joy.
     And I have to say one more thing: Eva Plays Dead is one of these few bands who give you a promise that good hard rock is not dead; hard rock is very well.

Ben Holland is a talented musician. That's a fact. His songs are always something amazing with great sounds and wonderful lyrics. That's a fact. But today I would like to say a few words about his newest song -  Dead Leaves.

If you like folk or an acoustic music with amazing lyrics and amazing voice of the singer, I think, you have found the right song. Ladies and Gents, let me introduce you Dead Leaves by Ben Holland.

 

In my opinion Dead Leaves is a perfect song for only for the autumn, but for every day when you want to listen to something real, something good, something breathtaking. Yes, this song is breathtaking from the first to the last second not only because of wonderful lyrics and ideal music, but also because of his voice and that special mood between the lines and sounds. This song is unique.

They talked for hours till the moon rose

If you will read the whole lyrics you will see a beautiful story. You can cry, you can admire, you can to be sad, you can feel bad or good. You can imagine every word, every fragment. Yes, listening to this song you can feel a lot of emotions and you can see every line, every verse as the fragment of the story or as one small story. That's amazing.

In my opinion this song is a piece of real and good, so good music. It's important to feel the music, you know - magic inside the words and sounds. And guess what - Dead Leaves has everything what makes the song perfect. It's something between Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynne, such a great mix of them. To be honest, Dead Leaves makes something that you want to listen to this song non-stop and you always want more and more. When you are listening to Dead Leaves, you have only one thought in your mind: damn, this is it! this is it!. 

I have to tell you, I have been listening to this song so many times and I still don't enough. I think I am addicted to this song. And I am proud of it.

Music of the day: "The Brave" by Lola Cove.

      Ladies and Gents - make some noise for one and only, Lola Cove!
Today's song of the day is the newest song "The Brave" and I'm pretty sure you will love it. Trust me, it's really good song with cool sounds so better turn up speakers, feel it and make some noise.
   Are you ready?

 Lola Cove are an alternative rock band from London [UK] formed by Luke Richmond [lead vocals / piano], Ollie Richmond [vocals / guitar], Jonny Swales [bass], Owen Crane [vocals / guitar] and finally Rob Cousins [drums] in 2013. Their first EP with three tracks was released in 2013, but their first official EP will be released in the second half of this year, 2014. Their first official music video - "Breathe" [released on April 2014].

     I'm sure that you remember  my last post about them [if not, you can read it here] and you remember when I wrote that I can't wait for more music by them because they're really awesome and their music is cool, fresh and a great piece of rock? This song is a great example that their music is just excellent. Because that they're talented I don't have to say again.

        "The Brave" - why?
     That's simple - this song is just epic! And to be honest they surprised me again. Really. The song was released on August 31 so it's still hot&fresh. And believe me - this song is so damn good.
    "The Brave" has everything what makes a rock song really awesome - great lyrics, cool sounds and five guys from the band who have a talent and you can really feel it while you're listening to their music. As for me it's important to feel the music, you know - magic inside the words and sounds. And guess what - you have it with this song and that's really cool.
     In my opinion, this song is just perfect. Why? Because this song was and still is like a huge "booom!" and "woow" in one, something what makes that you want to listen to it non-stop and you want more and more. I think that's really good.
     From August 31 I listened to this song hundreds of times and from that first time I just can't stop listening to "The Brave". Trust me, you will have the same when you only put "PLAY".

I can say only one thing - Guys, great job. Keep it up.

     Today I want to present you an amazing thing, medley of the best Whitney Houston's songs - "ToWhitneyLoveJade" by Jade Novah.

     Who doesn't know Whitney Houston, her wonderful songs or her heavenly voice? She was the one and only. Unique. Remarkable. I think, and also I hope, that there's no person who wouldn't know her.

     As you remember from my previous post, Jade Novah has a wonderful voice and huge talent and that's why I was curious how she will do it, because as we all know, sing something by Whitney Houston and do it well is just impossible.
  And you know what - Ms Jade sang these songs so perferct.

    As we can read on Jade's page, she did it because of Whitney's birthday [August 9]. Isn't it so lovely and gorgeous? Yes, it is. Also the whole note about this tribute you can read on Jade's page here.

Music of the day : "Thieves" by Bad Cardigan.

  
      Ladies and Gents, today I would like to recommend you a great song "Thieves" by Bad Cardigan. And I'm pretty sure you will like it the same (or even more) as I. Ready to listen to something really cool? Hope so.

Bad Cardigan is an acoustic duo from Lancashire [UK] and formed in September 2011 by Jack Anwyl and Tom Randall. Jack and Tom are writing own songs, and also both sing and play guitar. Their music mix of acoustic and indie, with nice and harmonious music and excellent lyrics. Amongst their inspiration we can find, f.e.: The Arctic Monkeys, City & Colour, John Frusciante, The Kinks, The Doors, Bon Iver, Alex Turner.

     At first, I have to say one thing: Jack Anwyl. Tom Randall. Bad Cardigan - remember these names. Names of two talented guys from UK and the name of their band, because they will give us the real music and who knows, maybe they will change the music. But I'm sure that it you'll hear about them soon, and not only once.

     I'm always, really always, curious about their new songs and the same was this time. When I saw their post with news about the new song I knew I have to check it as soon as possible and you know what - I was and still I am in shock. But positive shock of course.

    Why these two guys have to be such a perfect and do so damn good music? I really don't know. But I know one thing -  I love their music. The same is with "Thieves".

    "Thieves" is a song where you can everything what's the best - power, great sounds, super lyrics, perfect voices and mix of fast and even slow music [but only for a moment]. Everything of these things make this song so great and the next perfect track by them.
In my opinion, this song is for everyone and that's really great. You can listen to this song when you're sad or happy, by day or at night - it's really not important because every time when you put play and you hear these sounds you want more and more.

   Be honest, I'm waiting for more cool music by these two talented guys.

     Yesterday, May 14 2014, was a great day for all fans of The Shrugs, St Johnstone FC and football of course. Why? Because of premiere of the music video to this song, "Fair Maid".

     I'm sure that many of you already know this song very well, and that's really good because "Fair Maid" is just epic - one of the best football songs ever.

     Guess what... Today is the day of the premiere of new and very special song, "Fair Maid" by  The Shrugs. Are you excited? I'm pretty sure you will love it.

 The Shrugs is an acoustic duo from Dundee [Scotland] formed by Jamie Harris and Ollie Wale. Their music is a mix of acoustic, rock, pop rock, and sometimes even rap. Their debut EP "Crossroads" [February 2013] with six great songs you can find here.

     Anyway, a few words from me about the song.

   I don't know how [and what] they are doing that music made by them is just remarkable, and that I can't say any bad word about it. Again we have a great duo of music and lyrics, what makes that you just want to listen to this song non-stop. To be honest, I'm a good example of it because before I started writing this post, I listened to "Fair Maid" about 10 times and I still don't have enough, and I'm sure that I will listen to it today and during the next days, weeks maybe even months [the same is with their previous songs]. 

     Returning to the conversation about "Fair Maid" - as for me this song has everything to call it perfection. 4 minutes 10 seconds full of great energy, amazing music, pure music, talent and of course don't forget about super lyrics and two voices singing these words.

     What can I say more to show you that this song is so good as I'm writing? I think that you must to listen to it and then you will know everything. I'm sure you will fall in love with "Fair Maid" from the first seconds, from the first sounds, words.

Song of the day : "Ocean" by The Shiver.

     Ladies and Gents - make some noise for one and only, The Shiver.
     Today's song of the day will be really fresh and cool, the new song "Ocean" by great band, The Shiver. And you know what? I'm pretty sure you will love it.

The Shiver - an Italian band formed by Federica Faith Sciamanna (vocal), Francesco Finch Russo (drums), Vincenzo Lodolini (guitar) and finally Michele Colantuoni (bass guitar). They have three albums: "Inside" [2008], "A New Horizon" [2010] and "The Darkest Hour" [2014] and also one EP "Acoustic Experience #1" [2011] and one demo "Shade’s Changing".Their music is a mix of rock, dark rock, electro-goth and ambient.

     I know, I already wrote about them and about their music, but this time I want to recommend you their new work and share with you some perfect sounds.

     Ta-da! Yes, finally we have some new things by The Shiver - new single, new music video and new album. And honestly this song, "Ocean", is really great...it's excellent! And to be honest, they surprised me, again. Really and very much.

     "Ocean" was released on March 31 2014 and this is the first single from their new album, "The Darkest Hour". This song is the best description of The Shiver, to be honest. We can find here an excellent mix of great lyrics and super music. And Federica's great voice...

     In my opinion, this song is just perfect. Ok, maybe the reason of my words is a long time when they gave us their new music or maybe because their music is always so damn good. Or maybe just because everything what they do it's epic. 

     As for me this song was and still is like a huge "booom!" and "woow" in one, something what makes that you want to listen to it non-stop and you want more and more. I think that's really good.

     Also the music video is just awesome. You can feel all these feelings which describing words "trust no one" or "no one is safe". That's amazing.

     I'm glad because of their new single, and of course because of their new album. I can tell you one thing - not only this song is so good on their new album. I think that all of them, 11 tracks, could be the next single(s). 

   Now, I'm waiting for more and I wish all the best to them and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their future. 

    Ok, I think you should check it and, if you didn't know their music, fall in love with their music.
